Companion Care of Rochester was born in October of 1997 to create a better service for individuals and families in need. Initially, a non-medical agency to provide a quick response of quality support services for older adults and individuals with disabilities. In 2008, we became a Licensed Health Care Service Agency (LHCSA), providing both medical and non-medical care. The agency's goal is to treat those cared for, and their families, like our own family, at times when they can't be there.

Since founding the company in 1997, Mr. Gauvin has applied his passion and knowledge of homecare to developing CCOR into an agency that provides a helping hand; making a difference in the care for a loved one, allowing individuals to maintain their independence at home.
Devra A. Bevona has more than 25 years of management, finance, and accounting experience. She has assisted organizations to achieve their growth and profit goals while improving their operational efficiencies. Her experience includes working in a variety of industries, including manufacturing., financial services, fulfillment, and telecommunications. These industries range from startup operations to those with over $700M in revenues. As CFO, She has been actively involved with day to day operations of these businesses and has set the leadership tone for the organizations. Management of a financial organization within a company is a critical task requiring oversight, coaching, and direction from from the CFO, all which she excels at.
Officially a member of CCOR family for six years, Mr. Gauvin has supported his father's agency since the inception in 1997. Using his experience in marketing and sales, Mr. Gauvin has helped build CCOR to serving multiple counties across Western New York. Currently, he provides oversight and management to the Consumer Directed Program.
Molly Ford is the Chief Compliance Officer for Companion Care of Rochester. She is responsible for auditing and monitoring of records for the agency regarding adherence to Federal, State, accreditation, and organization standards and procedures. Molly has bee with the company since 2011 as the Director of Finance. She is a current member of HCCA.
Liza Torre brings 22 years of home health care experience. Her lengthy experience covers multiple levels of service in the health care industry. Ms. Torres has worked in the health care field as a Personal Care Assistant(PCA); a Certified Nurse's Assistant(CNA); and is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician(EMT). On the administrative side, Ms. Torres has been a scheduling team leader; overseeing staffing coordinators for both a Certified Home Health Agency(CHHA) as well as Licensed Health Care Service Agency(LHCSA). Her knowledge from a hands-on level of home care all the way through operations and management make Ms. Torres a crucial part of the CCOR family.
Robyn has over 21 years experience as a RN. She began her career working as a RN in Acute Care Facilities in the area, working within multiple types of acute care settings - ICU, CCU, ORTHO, PEDS, Telemetry, ER and MHU. During these years she was able to become a float RN in all areas of nursing within the hospital and also worked as an extra RN on skilled units of Demay Living Center as well.
She began her home care career with CCOR in September 2011 and held the HCSS supervisory position for the Geneva Satellite office managing both the staff and cases within the area. Robyn worked on the planning and control committee in 2015 and frequently filled in for the Manager of Patient Services and Director of Patient Services. In January 2016, she accepted the position as Director of Clinical Services.
In her role as Director of Waiver Services, Ms. Larkins oversees CCOR's TBI and NHTD Medicaid Waiver Programs. Joining CCOR in February 2009, Mrs. Larkins started her career as direct-care staff working her way up to the Director of Waiver Services. Mrs. Larkins has extensive experience working in human services. Starting in 1995, she has worked within the OPWDD waiver, TBI waiver, and NHTD waiver since its inception. Mrs. Larkins graduated from Nazareth College's Social Work program in 2001.
For six years, Mrs. Lyons-Jackson has been a crucial part of assuring high quality care for all CCOR clients. She accesses her many years of experience in nursing, homecare, management, and compliance to maintain CCOR's mission for high quality homecare. Mrs. Lyons-Jackson looks forward to helping CCOR continue to grow out west and ensure our high standards of quality care for our consumers.
Mrs. Lyons-Jackson is also currently nationally certified in healthcare compliance and retains memberships to several organizations, including HCCA and HCP and actively involved is our safety program
